Bahrain participates in agriculture conference in Israel

Tel Aviv, Oct. 18 (BNA): Minister of Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs, Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, participated in the first international agriculture conference in Israel, which was held under the theme "Agriculture in Israel-Growing Food from the Sea and the Desert". The event is currently being organized in Eilat city from October 18 to 20 with the participation of a number of agriculture ministers from the region and the whole world. The conference aims to discuss regional and international cooperation for food security. A number of specialists, scientists and businessmen are taking part in the international conference to discuss the best available means to develop the food industry in the region. The participation of the Bahraini delegation is at an invitation by Israel’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Oded Forer.
