HRH Princess Sabeeka congratulates Aisha Mattar on GCC honouring

Manama, Oct. 27 (BNA): Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), today sent a cable of congratulations to Aisha Khalifa Matar, following her honouring in the field of handicrafts and traditional industries, on the sidelines of the 26th Meeting of GCC Culture Ministers. HRH Princess Sabeeka congratulated Aisha Mattar on the well-deserved honouring which confirms the tremendous efforts she is exerting to preserve the kingdom's rich and diverse craftsmanship heritage, as well as her constant keenness to encourage the new generation, males and females, to join traditional crafts and industries and give them their modern touch, while preserving their originality and cultural identity.
