HM King congratulated by Shura Chairman on successful visit of HH Pope Francis

Manama, Nov. 6 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh extended most sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the successful first-of-its-kind visit of His Holiness Pope Francis to the Kingdom of Bahrain. He praised this historic and exceptional visit, stressing its role in anchoring the royal approach and vision of promoting global peace, tolerance and coexistence. The Shura Council Chairman hailed the initiative and patronage of HM the King of Bahrain Dialogue Forum: East and West for Human Coexistence which brought together scholars, intellectuals, clerics and preachers. He affirmed that the forum reflected coexistence, dialogue and tolerance among various doctrines and religions in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Shura Council Chairman stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of HM the King, will remain, as it has ever been known for hundreds of years, a meeting point of civilisations and religions and a hub for various cultures and faiths.
