HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs

Sharm El-Sheikh, Nov.7 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the United Kingdom's Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, the Rt Hon James Cleverly MP, at the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27), held in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. His Royal Highness highlighted the depth of longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, noting the importance of further developing the strategic partnership to achieve shared outcomes. During the meeting, issues of common interest were discussed, including in relation to mitigating climate change and achieving climate security.
