HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister departs the Arab Republic of Egypt for the Kingdom of Bahrain

Sharm El-Sheikh, Nov.7 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today departed the Arab Republic of Egypt, following his attendance, on behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, at the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27). His Royal Highness sent a cable of thanks to the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, HE Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in which His Royal Highness congratulated HE El-Sisi on successfully hosting COP27. His Royal Highness commended the outcomes of COP27, which highlighted the current most pressing environmental challenges, and reinforced the importance of globally coordinated efforts to safeguard the environment and advance climate security. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad further extended his gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality he received during his visit, which reflects the strength of the bilateral relations between the two countries. His Royal Highness concluded the cable by wishing Egypt and its citizens further progress and prosperity.
