THAI PM VISITS MALAYSIA
KUALA LUMPUR, June 8 (Bernama) -- Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva will make his first official visit to Malaysia Monday since assuming the post on Dec 17 last year.
Foreign Affairs Ministry (Wisma Putra) in a statement today said Abhisit would be accompanied by his deputy Suthep Thaugsuban, Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya and senior Thai government officials.
During his one-day visit, Abhisit is scheduled to meet with his Malaysian counterpart Najib Razak to discuss issues of mutual interest and on enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
The statement said the Malaysian King Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin was also scheduled to have an audience with Abhisit.
Najib will later host a dinner in honour of Abhisit.
