Obama to meet Lee Myung-bak over N. Korea, other issues: White House

WASHINGTON, June 8 (Yonhap) -- U.S. President Barack Obama will meet with South
Korean President Lee Myung-bak next week to discuss North Korea and other issues
of mutual concern, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said Monday.

Lee and Obama will meet at the White House on June 16 to "confer on North Korea
and consult on a range of bilateral and other issues," Gibbs said.
The summit will be the second of its kind since their first bilateral meeting in
London in April on the sidelines of the G20 economic summit meeting.
The meeting comes as the international community seeks condemnation of North
Korea for its second nuclear test last month in nearly three years.
