UoB President receives Association of Arab Universities secretary general

Manama, Nov. 29 (BNA): University of Bahrain (UoB) President Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al Mudhahka emphasized the efforts of the national university in providing research and scientific centers keeping pace with the modern technological development, in addition to encouraging the university's academic staff members and students to engage in scientific research. This came when Al Mudhahka received the Association of Arab Universities Secretary General Amr Ezzat Salameh, where they reviewed ways of academic and research cooperation between the two sides. During the meeting, they reviewed the role of higher education sector, its promotion of innovative research initiatives, and ways of keeping pace with modern education methods, and its dissemination of a culture of scientific research and applied research. Salameh wished the university further success in advancing higher education.
