HEC Secretary-General, Saudi Cultural Attaché discuss relations

Manama, Dec. 7 (BNA): Higher Education Council (HEC) Secretary-General and Vice Chairperson of its Board of Trustees Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa met with the Saudi Arabian Cultural Attaché to Bahrain Dr. Yousef Al Thuaini. The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation and touched on the mechanism for higher education institutions licensed in the Kingdom to be recognized by the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia. The two parties discussed ways to exchange academic experiences, research, and students to promote the higher education sector. Al Thuaini praised the continuous interest and follow-up of Saudi students on scholarships in the universities of Bahrain, ans dtressed the keenness of Saudi Arabia to enhance cooperation. He thanked the secretary-general for her efforts in improving the educational process in Bahrain.
