Electricity Minister receives Thai ambassador

Manama, Dec. 7 (BNA): Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, received Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Piyapak Sricharoen. The minister reviewed issues of common interest, stressing deep relations between the two friendly countries. He praised the achievements brought about by the kingdom of Thailand in developing the electricity and water sector and benefiting from the renewable energy sources. He also affirmed keenness to consolidate bilateral relations and cooperation in these vital areas. The Thai ambassador commended solid ties of friendship binding both countries, praising the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain in upgrading the electricity, water and energy sector.
