Foreign Minister receives US delegation

Manama, Dec.11 (BNA): Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani received US Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs, Dr. Jung Pak and Deputy Assistant for the Bureau of Near Eastern Affair Chris Backemeyer and the accompanying delegation. The two sides reviewed joint cooperation, historic friendship and strategic partnership binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the USA across all fields. Issues of common interest were also discussed during the meeting which was also attended by Head of the Americas and Pacific Affairs Ambassador Shaikh Abdulla bin Ali Al Khalifa.
