Bahrain plays Egypt in crucial IHF World Handball Championship main round match

Stockholm, Jan. 21 (BNA): The Bahrain National Handball Team will today play Egypt in a crucial main round match in the 28th International Handball Federation (IHF) Men’s World Handball Championship at the Malmo Arena in Malmo, Sweden. Egypt lead the six-team group with six points while Bahrain are in third place with four points, just behind reigning world champions Denmark, who have five. The national team will need to win this game and the next one against Croatia, to book a spot in the last-eight stage, as only two teams are able to qualify for the quarter-finals from each of the four groups in the main round. The match will start at 5.30 pm, Bahrain time.
