Bahrain's Ambassador meets ICC President

The Hague, Feb.20 (BNA): Brussels-based Bahrain’s non-resident Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabr Al-Dosari met with the International Criminal Court (ICC) President Judge Piotr Hofmanski in The Hague.

The ambassador noted the role of the International Criminal Court and its long-standing experience in establishing the pillars of security and justice at the international level.

He affirmed Bahrain’s commitment as  an active member of the international community, to maintain security and peace, based on the achievements of the reform program of His Majesty the King, in establishing a state law and institutions.

The ambassador also met ICC Deputy Prosecutor Mame Mandiaye Niang and appointed registrar Osvaldo Zavala Giler in The Hague and discussed joint cooperation.
