The President Expresses His Confidence In The Ability Of The Lebanese To Overcome The Current Stage

Baghdad / NINA / - The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, expressed his confidence in the ability of the Lebanese to overcome the current stage.

During his meeting with the Lebanese Minister of Labor, Mustafa Hussein Bayram, according to a presidential statement, he stressed the depth of relations between the two brotherly countries and the emphasis on the need to upgrade them to include the economic, commercial and cultural fields.

He made it clear: Iraq stands by Lebanon, expressing confidence in the ability of the Lebanese to overcome the current stage.

Rashid stressed: the importance of expanding the horizons of cooperation between Iraq and Lebanon through the exchange of visits and experiences, especially in the fields of work, social protection and vocational training, because of the importance of this in supplying the labor markets with specialists.

In turn, Minister Bayram affirmed that the relationship between Lebanon and Iraq, government and people, is a relationship that developed through communication and was confirmed by difficult circumstances, and he also expressed hope that it would be strengthened to facilitate work procedures for the Lebanese in Iraq and for the Iraqis in Lebanon, noting that Iraq was and still is supportive, and in solidarity with Lebanon's legitimate causes, wishing continuity brotherly relations and bilateral cooperation./ End
