HEC Secretary-General receives researcher

Manama, Mar. 6 (BNA): Higher Education Council (HEC) Secretary-General and Vice Chairperson of its Board of Trustees Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa received researcher Maria Marcus from the Rochester Institute of Technology, participating in the Fulbright Scholars Program.
 
The program targets young people interested in study and research, and the researcher studies it in cooperation with the Royal College of Surgeons - Medical University of Bahrain.
 
The secretary-general was briefed on the most recent research developments being done by the American researcher.
 
She praised the initiatives aimed at enhancing student exchange between higher education institutions in Bahrain and the US, stressing the importance of cooperation and coordination in the field of higher education and various disciplines.
