PM: The agreement between Saudi Arabia and Iran will contribute to increasing harmony between Islamic countries
Baghdad / NINA / - Prime Minister Muhammad al-Sudani affirmed that the agreement between Saudi Arabia and Iran will contribute to increasing harmony between Islamic countries.
The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement that "Prime Minister Muhammad al-Sudani received this evening, Friday, a phone call from the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Shamkhani, who is currently in the Chinese capital, Beijing."
He added, "During the call, Shamkhani expressed his thanks to Iraq for its role in the negotiations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the Iraqi efforts that were made to bridge the views between the two countries, which contributed to reaching a new agreement between them in Beijing."
According to the statement, the Prime Minister congratulated Shamkhani on the occasion of reaching an agreement between them, stressing that "this agreement will contribute to increasing harmony among Islamic countries, which will reflect positively on the security and stability of the region, and provide more opportunities for development and prosperity."/ End
