Bahraini-Jordanian relations flourishing in various fields

Manama, Mar. 12 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh expressed pride in the Bahrain-Jordan relations and praised their  development of historical that extended for decades, thanks to the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein.

Al Saleh held a meeting with the Jordan Speaker Ahmed Safadi who is leading Joran's delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) 146th Assembly held in Bahrain on March 11 - 15.

The relations between the two countries are important in formulating common views on various issues and topics, he added.

Safadi commended the bonds between the two kingdoms and the keenness of their leaderships on consolidating them.

He also expressed deep pride in Bahrain's and distinction in hosting the IPU 146th Assembly and related meetings.

The huge presence of heads and representatives of international parliaments is an indication of Bahrain's status of Bahrain and influential role regionally and internationally, he said.
