Bahrain-UAE parliament relations, cooperation stressed

Manama, Mar. 12 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh praised the close parliamentary cooperation and coordination with the United Arab Emirates.

The closeness reflects the deep-rooted relations between the two countries and their sustainable development and remarkable progress across various fields, he said as he received UAE Federal National Council Speaker Saqr Ghobash on the sidelines of 146th IPU Assembly.

The Chairman said the Kingdom and the UAE presented a civilized model in fraternal partnership and adopt initiatives that promote tireless endeavors to consolidate peace and harmony in the world.

Ghobash expressed his appreciation and praise for the efforts made by the Kingdom to host the largest international parliamentary gathering, which consolidates its international standing.
