LMRA Chief Executive receives British Shadow Minister for Middle East and North Africa

Manama, Mar. 15 (BNA): Chief Executive Officer of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), Nouf Abdul Rahman Jamsheer, received in her office at the LMRA headquarters, member of the British House of Commons, Shadow Minister for the Middle East and North Africa, MP Bambos Charalambous.

The LMRA Chief Executive underscored strong relations and strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, stressing the importance of further advancing them. She also highlighted the Kingdom’s efforts in developing the work environment and preserving the rights of all parties.

She spotlighted the most prominent initiatives, projects and measures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain to develop the labour market, including the recently launched labour registration system, which is based on the partnership with the private sector, the optional insurance system for domestic workers, in addition to the wage protection system which aims to ensure the payment of workers’ wages in a timely manner and reduce labour disputes.
