The FM To His Bahraini Counterpart: Iraq Attaches Great Importance To Strengthening Bilateral Relations
Baghdad / NINA / - Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein confirmed today, Wednesday, that Iraq attaches great importance to strengthening bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The ministry's spokesman, Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, said in a statement: "The minister made a phone call with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani."
During the call, the minister stressed that "Iraq attaches great importance to strengthening bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain, and is working to improve means of cooperation in a way that achieves the interests of both countries."
He congratulated his Bahraini counterpart on the advent of the month of Ramadan, praying to God Almighty to return it to the two countries with more progress and prosperity.
For his part, the Bahraini Foreign Minister praised "the constructive and fruitful cooperation that relations between Baghdad and Manama have reached," wishing that "Ramadan will be a month of mercy and giving."/ End
