NIHR participates in children's complaints training Program

London, Mar. 28 (BNA): Members of the Board of Commissioners and employees of the General Secretariat of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) participated in a training and field program on children’s complaints and the mechanism for dealing with them in the UK.

The program is in cooperation with Nyko Foundation in Ireland.

The foundation is specialized in the Children’s Restorative Justice Law and best practices internationally in this regard.

They reviewed the UK's advanced experiences in human rights, especially in the field of children's rights, the mechanism for dealing with them and exchanged expertise.

The delegation visited several official bodies, including Northern Ireland Commissioner for Children & Young People, the Northern Ireland Ombudsman, and other bodies working in the field of human rights.
