BIBF students win first place in CFA Research Challenge 2022-2023

Manama, Apr. 18 (BNA): The Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) Rasheed Mohamed Al Maraj received BIBF students who won first place in the 2022-2023 Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Research Challenge.
The Governor congratulated the BIBF team on this achievement, as the Institute's team competed with many local universities in the Kingdom.
The BIBF's team of undergraduate students included Salma Al Abbasi, Mustafa Al Sayyad, Ahmed Ghazwan, Maryam Al Khawaja and Noor Al Hashemi, who chose a public company in the logistics services sector for their research.
BIBF Chairman honored the students and congratulated them on their achievement.
"Their performance is a testament to the quality of education at the BIBF and the advanced level of its students and faculty. We are proud of this achievement and wish the students all the best in their future endeavors," he added.
The Financial Analysts Research Challenge is an annual international competition that provides university students with practical experience in analyzing financial data and stocks and preparing research on investing in financial markets. The competition attracts thousands of participants from around the world and is considered one of the most prestigious competitions for university and graduate students.
