Ways to enhance Bahraini-Egyptian artistic cooperation discussed

Manama, May 9 (BNA): National Council for Arts Chairman, Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, received here today Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain, Yasser Mohammed Shaban.

The National Council for Arts Chairman affirmed the depth of the solid Bahraini-Egyptian relations and cooperation in various fields.

He also discussed with the envoy ways to bolster bilateral cooperation, through the exchange of artistic expertise and experiences.

Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa highlighted the importance of holding artistic exhibitions and workshops, as well as exchanging visits, which will consolidate artistic fields.

He indicated that the National Council for Arts always seeks to encourage interest in all types of art, highlight artistic talents and motivate creative persons, noting that the Kingdom is an ideal destination for hosting exhibitions and artistic events, as it boasts all requirements for their success.

He praised the warm welcome accorded to him during his recent visit to Egypt, where he discussed with the relevant authorities mechanisms of exchanging expertise, in addition to ways to enhance bilateral artistic cooperation.

The Egyptian Ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation to the National Council for Arts Chairman, and expressed his deepest pride in his country's relations with Bahrain, praising Bahrain's wide-ranging achievements.

He also stressed the importance of strengthening artistic cooperation between the two countries, expressing admiration for Bahraini artists' creativity, diverse ideas, and artistic aesthetic taste.
