The President Assures Czech FM The Govt's Seriousness In The Field Of Investment And The Entry Of International Companies Into The Country

Baghdad / NINA / - The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, affirmed the government's seriousness in the field of investment and the entry of international companies into the country.

A statement by the Presidency of the Republic stated: The President discussed during his meeting with Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky the bilateral relations between the two countries and the need to enhance cooperation and coordination in various fields, especially trade, economy and industry, in a way that achieves the interests of the two countries and peoples.

Rashid referred to the situation in Iraq and the security stability in Baghdad and other cities.

Rashid said: The government has an ambitious program that includes strengthening security and stability, and providing the best services to citizens.

He pointed to the efforts being made to approve the budget soon, indicating: "This will encourage investment opportunities in the country," expressing his hope for the presence of Czech companies and investment in many important strategic projects, and their cooperation with Iraqi companies in this regard.

Rashid stressed: The Iraqi government is serious about opening up in the field of investment and facilitating the procedures for international companies to enter the country and encouraging them to invest in the Iraqi provinces and cities, as Iraq's good relations and its openness to the countries of the world and the region in a manner that serves common interests.
