The Iraqi Delegation: This Is The Outcome Of The Meeting's Discussions On The "Development Road Project"
Baghdad / NINA / - The Iraqi delegation participating in the meetings of the "Development Road Project", whose work officially began today, Saturday, in Baghdad, announced the outcome of the discussions that were discussed by representatives of neighboring countries and the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
Adviser to the Prime Minister for Transportation Affairs, Nasser Al-Asadi, said, during a joint press conference today, Saturday, that "the meetings of the Development Road Project conference presented the development of the preliminary design, the development of the detailed design, and the establishment of the desired railways and land roads."
He added, "We are in the process of forming committees to come up with decisions for the work of the strategic conference, which we hope will serve our country and neighboring countries."
In turn, the Director of the Iraqi Ports Company, Farhan Al-Fartousi, confirmed that "the meeting showed, during the discussions, what was presented by the Prime Minister's advisor and the Italian advisor, and presented the details of the project, where a number of attendees, represented by ministers or their representatives, expressed that this project is complementary, and it is what the governments of neighboring countries aspire for, for integrated teamwork within this economic project, which is a transportation project that will benefit all.
He added, "The conferees expressed their desire to form quick committees to enter into detailed operations and matters, whether in technical aspects or other matters related to the project in general."/ End
