Political Affairs Undersecretary meets Australia's Assistant Foreign Minister

Riyadh, June 8 (BNA): The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, met the Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs of Australia, Tim Watts, on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the Global Coalition against Daesh in Riyadh.

They reviewed cooperation relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Australia, and ways to enhance them in various political, economic, and social fields.

They also discussed several regional and international issues within the framework of common interest to combat extremism and terrorism, support international efforts to establish security, peace and stability, as well as promote sustainable development in the region and the world.
