Political Affairs Undersecretary meets Parliamentary Secretary to Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister

Riyadh, June 8 (BNA): Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, met with Robert Oliphant, the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the Global Coalition Against Daesh.

The meeting reviewed Bahraini-Canadian ties, bilateral political and economic cooperation and ways to develop them in various sectors.

The meeting also discussed a number of regional and international topics within the framework of the keenness of the two countries to support the efforts of the international community in combating extremism and terrorism, and consolidating security, stability and peace in the region and the world.
