110 Accredited Ambassadors To Qatar Visit Doha International Book Fair 2023

Doha, June 19 (QNA) - The 32nd Doha International Book Fair brought together Monday evening 110 dignitaries - Their Excellencies ambassadors of Arab and foreign countries accredited to the State of Qatar and representatives of Doha-based international organizations. Held under the slogan 'With Reading We Rise', the event, at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, kicked off June 12 and runs through June 21. HE Minister of Culture Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Thani, along with Their Excellencies the ambassadors and guests, toured the Fair to learn about the treasures of manuscripts on display, as well as the most important modern releases of Arab and foreign publishers on varied branches of knowledge. Their Excellencies the ambassadors also visited a number of the exhibition's main pavilions, most notably the pavilion of the Ministry of Culture that showcases rare manuscripts and books, the Expo Doha 2023 Pavilion, the pavilion of Saudi Arabia. They also learned about many cultural and children's activities held on the margins of the event. The event brought together more than 500 publishers from 37 countries. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been named the guest of honor for this edition. (QNA)
