Bahrain’s Hajj Mission arrives in Makkah

Manama, June 21 (BNA): Dr. Mohammed Taher Al-Qattan, Deputy Head of Bahrain Hajj Mission, announced the completion of the arrival of all committees and members of Bahrain’s mission at its headquarters in Al-Naseem neighborhood in Makkah, headed by Shaikh Adnan Abdullah Al-Qattan.

 

The head of the mission visited Al Madinah Al Munawwarah where he inspected the status of Bahrain's Hajj campaigns present there and was briefed on the progress of all procedures at the mission’s headquarters, praising the mission’s readiness to perform its role during Hajj season.

 

 He also signed a contract with the designated hospital for providing health care for all Bahraini pilgrims and members of the missions in Al-Madinah.

 

 

The Deputy Head and Khaled Al-Maloud, Secretary-General of the mission, accompanied Shaikh Al-Qattan to inspect the readiness of Mina and Arafat as they were briefed on the preparation of the camps and facilities in the holy sites.

 

 

Dr. Mohammed Al-Qattan also praised the efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques government in facilitating the arrival of the pilgrims through all ports.

 

He also noted that a number of the delegation’s committees had flocked to Mecca since the beginning of this month, and since their arrival, they have undertaken the tasks assigned to them according to plan.

 

The medical committee began to equip the clinic at the mission’s headquarters, which provides the needed medical care to pilgrims and members of the Bahraini campaigns.

 

Bahrain’s Hajj Mission includes the security committee, medical committee, assessment and follow-up committee, media and public relations committee, contractors and pilgrims relations committee, scouts, Red Crescent team and transportation; which are assigned to cover all the needs of pilgrims.
