Iraq And Azerbaijan Stress The Importance Of Enhancing Trade Exchange And Cooperation On Various Economic Levels
Baghdad / NINA / - Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein and President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Alif stressed the importance of enhancing trade exchange and cooperation on various economic levels.
The Foreign Ministry stated in a statement: "During the meeting, on the sidelines of the minister's participation in the ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement, which is being held in Baku for the period from 5-6 July, they discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, and Fuad Hussein conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid and the head of the Council of Ministers, Muhammad al-Sudani.
The two sides touched on the continuous and joint cooperation of the two countries in international forums, and stressed the importance of enhancing trade exchange and cooperation on various economic levels, including the railway, aviation and tourism sectors, and the exchange of trade experiences between the two countries.
In turn, the President of the Republic instructed the Ministry of Transport to resume operating air flights between the two countries for tourist visits, stressing the desire of the Government of Azerbaijan to strengthen relations between the two countries, noting that a high-level government delegation headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan will be sent to Iraq to start joint work in the economic fields./ End
