Bahrain, US military cooperation discussed

Manama, July 5 (BNA): Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), received Senator Rick Scott, Member of the United States Senate Committee on Armed Services.

Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs, attended the meeting.

Shaikh Khalifa praised the Bahraini-US ties and the ongoing cooperation in all fields, including in the military and defense sectors.

The Commander-in-Chief affirmed the importance of the partnership between Bahrain and the US which continues to see ongoing development.
