PM From Syria: Any Enclave Containing Terrorist Groups In Syria Threatens Iraq And The Countries Of The Region.
Baghdad / NINA /- Prime Minister Muhammad al-Sudani affirmed that Iraq supports the territorial integrity of Syria.
Al-Sudani said, in a joint press conference with the Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad in the Syrian capital, Damascus, which he visited today that "terrorism has receded in Iraq and was defeated by the efforts of our security forces."
Al-Sudani added that any enclave containing terrorist groups in Syria threatens Iraq and the countries of the region.
Al-Sudani said that the doors are open regarding investment exchange between the two brotherly countries.
For his part, the Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad affirmed that the relationship between Iraq and Syria is deep.
Al-Assad said in a joint press conference with Prime Minister Muhammad al-Sudani that Syria will not forget the honorable position of Iraq during the ordeal of the earthquakes that hit Syria.
Al-Assad stressed that the visit of Prime Minister Muhammad al-Sudani to Syria is important for the two countries.
