PRESIDENT YUDHOYONO RECEIVES CREDENTIALS FROM 15 AMBASSADORS



Jakarta, June 19 (ANTARA) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono received credentials from 15 "designate non resident" ambassadors at the Merdeka Palace here on Friday.

The presentation of credentials of the 15 ambassadors took place at 7.30 a.m Friday, and later at 9 a.m the President received the envoys in audience.

The 15 designate non resident ambassadors were Irish ambassador in Singapore Richard O'Brien, Ethiopian ambassador in Tokyo Abdirashid Dulane, Swaziland ambassador in Kuala Lumpur Mpumelelo Joseph N Hlophe, Omani ambassador in Kuala Lumpur Aflah bin Suleiman Al-Taei, Luxembourg ambassador in Bangkok Marc Ungeheuer, Eritrean ambassador in New Delhi Alem Tsehaye Woldemariam, Colombian ambassador in New Delhi Juan Alfredo Pinto, Ugandan ambassador in New Delhi Nimisha J Madhvani, Nepali ambassador in Kuala Lumpur Rishi Raj Adhikari, Lithuanian ambassador in Vilnius Sigute Jakstonyte, Angolan ambassador in Singapore Flavio Saraiva de Carvalho Fonseca, Djibouti ambassador in Tokyo Ahmed Araita Ali, Seychelles ambassador in New Delhi Dick Patrick Esparon, Mongolian ambassador in Bangkok Luvsandoo Dashpurev, and Palau ambassador in Manila Ramon Rechebei.

After presenting their credential to President Yudhoyono, the 15 foreign ambassadors had an informal meeting with the Indonesian head of state who was flanked by Minister/State Secretary Hatta Radjasa and Foreign Affairs Minister Hassan Wirayuda.
