New Delhi, Jun 19 (PTI) India's Home Minister P
Chidambaram on Friday said the police operation in eastern
state West Bengal's troubled Lalgarh town is going according
to plan but the forces should be prepared for the
"unexpected".
"So far the operation is going according to plans but
they must be prepared for the unexpected. I sincerely hope
that with the kind of action we have advised, the operation
will be successful," he told reporters after a cabinet
meeting.
The West Bengal police forces were in adequate number
and they should lead the operation from the front as they are
doing. "The CRPF will assist them," he added. PTI
