Foreign Minister meets Chairman of US Senate Foreign Relations Committee

Washington, Sept. 13 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, The Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Senator Bob Menendez,the Chairman of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Senator Jim Risch, the Vice Chairman of the Committee, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, the Ambassador of Bahrain to the United States, attended the meeting.

The two sides discussed the partnership between the two countries, and the accomplishment achieved by cooperation at all political, defence, security, economic and development levels.

The meeting reviewed ways to enhance cooperation in promoting the values of tolerance and human coexistence within the framework of the goals of the Abraham Accords.
