Iran wushu fighter bags silver medal in Hangzhou
Tehran, IRNA – Iranian female wushu fighter Zahra Kiani has received a silver medal in the Hangzhou Asian Games.
Kiani with 19,436 points snatched her medal in Talo category while Chinese rival with 19,600 points ranked first, the IRNA reported on Wednesday.
Kiani received the 2018 Asian Games silver medal in Jakarta.
The 2022 Asian Games also known as Hangzhou 2022 is a continental multi-sport event currently being held from 23 September to 8 October 2023 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.
Iran has sent 289 male and female athletes to the Games in 34 sports divisions.
