Saudi Space Agency Participates in the International Astronautical Congress in Baku

Riyadh, October 01, 2023, SPA -- The Saudi Space Agency participates in the 74th session of the International Astronautical Congress held in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, during the period from 2 to 6 October, in order to highlight the Kingdom’s role and pioneering experience in the space sector and its future ambitions, in addition to Strengthening its cooperation with various international bodies in the field of space and its technologies.
In its pavilion, the Kingdom showcases the capabilities it possesses by displaying cognitive, enrichment, and educational materials, and its program for astronauts. It also contributes to introducing visitors to the exhibition accompanying the conference to the experience and presence of the space sector in the Kingdom at the international level, its historical interest in space, and the care given by the Kingdom’s leadership to this vital sector.
With broad international participation, the conference seeks to facilitate the communication process between concerned parties to exchange information and ideas and discuss developments and accurate analyses regarding strategies, emerging trends in the fields of space research, and the prospects for its exploration. Through its participation in international conferences, the Saudi Space Agency looks forward to communicating with leaders of the global space sector from governmental, specialized and academic agencies and enhancing the prospects for cooperation with them.
