Syria strongly condemns terrorist attack on Cuban Embassy in US

Damascus, SANA-the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Cuban Embassy in the United States.

“Syria strongly condemns the terrorist attack against the Cuban embassy in the United States of America by throwing two firebombs at the embassy chancery,” the Ministry said in a statement.

The Ministry added that targeting diplomatic missions is an illegitimate act and a serious violation of international conventions and laws.

The Ministry said that Syria once again expresses its support to the Republic of Cuba in the face of all challenges, particularly the condemnation of the sanctions and the inhumane financial, commercial and economic blockade imposed by the United States of America on Cuba and the rejection of the policy of domination, colonization, exploitation and interference in the internal affairs of independent states.

Syria has demanded that Cuba be removed from the fake US list of state sponsors of terrorism, and that this shameful list be revoked, in which the US openly blackmails countries that value their sovereignty and justify their interference in the internal affairs of other countries.
