Seoul mayor to visit U.S., Mongolia

SEOUL, June 21 (Yonhap) -- Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon will visit New York and Ulan
Bator, the capital of Mongolia, this week on a weeklong public relations tour,
his office said Sunday.

Oh will fly Monday to New York to receive a pair of U.N. awards for his city's
services that allow citizens to monitor the quality of their tap water and make
their own proposals through the Internet on improving governance.
Oh will then head to Ulan Bator to meet with his Mongolian counterpart and reach
an agreement on ways to expand economic and environmental cooperation between the
two cities, his office said.
