Speaker of the People’s Assembly, Hammouda Sabbagh, in a speech at the meeting, stressed the importance of working with national parliaments, influential regional and international parliamentary organizations to immediately stop the barbaric Zionist bombing of the peaceful population in besieged Gaza and end the attempts of Zionist entity aimed at forcibly displacing them.

Sabbagh underlined the need to exert pressure on the international community as possible, according to its humanitarian, moral and legal duties, to stop the Zionist violations against Palestinians, providing them with immediate aid, opening humanitarian crossings ,and exerting efforts to reach a just and comprehensive solution to the issue of Palestine, including return of Palestinian refugee and build the Palestinian state with Holy Jerusalem as its capital.
