Bahraini ambassador to Egypt participates in Executive Office meeting for 5th regular session of Population and Development Council

Cairo, Nov. 27 (BNA): Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal Bahraini Ambassador to Egypt, participated in the meeting of the Preparatory Executive Office for the work of the fifth regular session of the Population and Development Council, with the participation of senior officials and experts from the National Population Councils and Committees in Eygpt. 

 

The meeting discussed preparing Arab positions for the 57th session of the United Nations Commission on Population and Development, focusing on assessing the International Conference's action program and monitoring the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.

 

It also discussed achieving sustainable development goals, environmental sustainability, population dynamics, reverse migration implications, and Arab Population Day 2024.
