Vietnam has bagged five golds, one silver and
Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam has bagged five golds, one silver and two bronzes at
the Southeast Asian Young Table-Tennis Tournament 2009 that wrapped up in
Thailand on June 22.
Dao Duy Hoang won one gold in the men’s single and joined his teammates Duc Hoang
and Minh Thuy to bring home two golds in the men’s double and mix double events.
Four players Duy Hoang, Duc Hoang, Duc Luan and Huu Duc defeated their Singaporean
rivals 3-2 to defend their champion title in the men’s double event.
The other gold medal was carried off by Viet Linh in the women’s single
