“Nursultan Nazarbayev is a founder of independent state”
Astana, June 24, 2009 (Khabar) - Book entitled in this way has been presented in Astana. Authors of the book are Kazakhstani scientists and they wrote it for 2 years. The head of the project is PhD in history Burkitbai Ayagan, director of Institute of State History.
Burkitbai Ayagan, director of Institute of State History under Ministry of Education and Science of RK:
- It was very important for me not to repeat myself and I wanted to make this book a new word in Kazakhstani science. The book starts with childhood of the President. We found his photos with his parents and school photos, his studying in Dneprodzerzhinsk.
The book presents photos that were not published earlier and archives documents. The authors say life of Nursultan Abishevich is a bright example of unique person who managed to become a prominent statesman in the world. The edition of the book is 1000 copies.
Myrzatai Zholdasbekov, director of President’s center of culture:
- In 1989 the participants of the plenary session of Central committee of Communist party of Kazakhstan unanimously elected Nursultan Nazarbayev as first secretary of Central committee of Communist party of Kazakhstan. Since that time we began strong advancing for independence and gained it. Then it was necessary to settle state system and guarantee development of new state. Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev is the man who was trusted to carry out such a responsible work and I think he succeeded in consolidating of independence. I am delighted with his work and merit that was deserved by him before his people.
