Saudi Ambassador to USA: Saudi Arabia Participates in WEF Due to its Position and Leading Role in Global Arena
Davos, January 16, 2024, SPA -- Saudi Ambassador to the USA Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz has expressed thanks and gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for selecting her part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s delegation, which is headed by the minister of foreign affairs, to the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, she said that the Kingdom’s participation in this year’s WEF is due to its position and leading role in the global arena.
Princess Reema said that guided by its Vision 2030, the Kingdom has made achievements in various international forums and adopted a new approach in its foreign policy, which has established it as a leader in the region and the world.
Princess Reema also said that she is keen to contribute to the successful participation of the Kingdom in WEF, by exchanging views and ideas that can help address global challenges, and sharing the Kingdom’s achievements in the political, economic, climate, technical and innovative domains.
