Syrian equestrians shine in President’s Cup 2024

Abu Dhabi-SANA- The Syrian athletes excelled in the President of the UAE SHOWJUMPING CUP, which was held on Al Forsan International Sports Resort. 

After a strong rivalry among more than 60 of the world’s elite male and female equestrians over hurdles that reached a height of 130 cm, Syrian heroes were crowned in the first five places in a row. 

Equestrian Sham al-Assad ranked first with a time of 37.83 seconds. 

While  Hadi Nidham came second in a time of 39.66 seconds, then Mugheeth Shihab who won the third place, followed by Fadi Zubaibi and Aya Hamsho in the fourth and fifth places respectfully. 

Syrian star, al-Assad, has won third place during Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy International Show Jumping Cup, in the two-star category, for a height of 140 cm, with the participation of 69 male and female equestrians from 19 countries.
