NA members contribute ideas on government’s work

(KPL) The National Assembly members discussed the Government works on the leakage of budget issue led to the failure of state revenue collection over the past six months.
During the two-day meeting, the NA members brainstormed on the gut-wrenching issues found in the report of the first six months of the fiscal year of Government’s report 2008-2009 regarding to the socio-economic development and focal plan 2009-10.
NA members concentrated on researching and considering the possibility of GDP to be grown by 7.1 per cent, ways for preventing the leakage of state budget. The government was asked to oversee the releasing loan of Nayobay Bank for poor people, taking advantage of investors such as maize plantation.
The NA members displayed concern over the global economic crisis was affecting to the nation and it trends to take for years therefore the NA member proposed government to seek ways to strengthen the state enterprise administration.
