Bahrain, Oman discuss cultural cooperation

Manama, Mar. 21 (BNA): Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), received Said bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Culture of Oman.

 

The two sides reviewed the deep-rooted Bahraini-Omani ties and exchanged views on various cultural topics of common interest.

 

Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed underlined the importance of promoting cultural cooperation between both countries.

 

Al Busaidi praised BACA’s role in promoting Bahrain’s cultural movement.

 

He affirmed his support for the partnership between the authority and the Ministry of Culture of Oman, which aims to launch cultural initiatives and promote the development of the cultural sector.

 

The undersecretary also visited Bahrain International Museum and the Pearling Path Trail.
