National Symphony Orchestra Gives Concert

Pyongyang, April 16 (KCNA) -- A concert was given by the National Symphony Orchestra at the Moranbong Theatre on April 15, the 112th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.
Among the audience were Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, first vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly, and other senior Party and government officials, officials of ministries, national agencies and municipal-level institutions and labor innovators.
At the concert that began with overture "Song of Mangyongdae", the performers praised the undying feats of the President who put an eternal end to the history of national distress, opened up a new era of independence and glorified the dignity and glory of the country and people before the world.
The audience was deeply moved by the numbers that made them recall the world of love for the people and devotion of Kim Il Sung, a benevolent father who brought the genuine life of the people into bloom with his ardent love and affection, regarding only their happiness as the pride of revolution.
The performance demonstrated the revolutionary spirit of all the people to further accelerate the general advance for implementing the decisions of the Eighth Congress of the Party and the plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee under the leadership of the Party Central Committee. It ended with orchestral music "We Will Go along Road of Loyalty". -0-
