Sabbagh to Iranian judicial delegation: Importance of coordination between the two countries at all levels

Damascus, SANA- Speaker of the People’s Assembly, Hammouda Sabbagh, stressed the deeply-rooted historical relations between Syria and Iran, pointing out the identical stances in supporting common issues. 

That came during his meeting Wednesday with Kazem Gharibabadi, Deputy Head of the Judicial Authority for International Affairs and Secretary of the Human Rights Commission of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the accompanying delegation. 

Sabbagh affirmed the deeply -rooted historic relations that have always united the two friendly countries, pointing to the importance of coordination at all levels, especially in the parliamentary field, exchange of delegations and experiences between the two councils and coordination in regional and international parliamentary forums. 

For his part, Gharibabadi noted the strategic relations between the two countries,stressing that Iran stands by Syria in its confrontation of the forces of aggression and terrorism.
