Pledge-making Meeting of Korean Workers

Pyongyang, April 24 (KCNA) -- Workers and members of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) held an oath-taking meeting at the Central Hall of Workers here on April 23 ahead of the 92nd founding anniversary of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army (KPRA).
Choe Jong Chol, vice-chairman of the GFTUK Central Committee, read out a resolution.
The resolution said that after President Kim Il Sung founded the KPRA, the revolutionary armed forces of Juche type, the Korean people came to have their genuine revolutionary army led by the outstanding leader for the first time in history, the glorious history of the Korean revolution advancing by dint of arms started and a rosy future of the Juche revolution opened up.
It extended the noblest respect to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, who developed the revolutionary armed forces into the most elite revolutionary army, and expressed firm belief that the Korean People's Army would demonstrate the noble name and dignity of the ever-victorious heroic army forever thanks to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
It called for regarding the indomitable revolutionary spirit and partisan spirit of the first generation of the revolution as precious revolutionary legacy and ideological and spiritual wealth and glorifying this year as a year of great victory and change to be specially recorded in the history of the country again true to the leadership of the Party Central Committee.
The resolution called on the workers and trade union members to become staunch vanguard fighters defending unto death Kim Jong Un, who has brought the status of a powerful country to the DPRK and brought about a rosy future of a prosperous and powerful army.
